A. Link

A. Link & Co. was started in the early 1900's by Mr. Adolph Link. Adolf was the son of a Goldsmith from Vienna. In 1894, Adolf moved to New York City's lower east side, where he met his wife, Anna, who was the daughter of a Rabbi. They married in 1912. He then went on to apprentice as a platinum jeweler with companies such as Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier. With the help of the hard work his wife endured, he was able to buy raw platinum and gold to create his own designs. He was also helped by one of Fifth Avenue's greatest craftsman.
Later on in the 1940's, Adolph had two sons who eventually joined him in his business. One of his sons, Marvin, apprenticed in Antwerp as a diamond cutter, and the other son, Seymour, became a jeweler. With the trades and experience of both sons, A. Link built up it's reputation as a designer of beautiful traditional jewelery and the finest made diamond dealer.
