Keris The Oscillator. The balance and hairspring form the regulating heart of a mechanical watch, oscillating several times a second, out of sight. The Oscillator brings this mechanism into the open: its balance measures close to 200 mm, its motion deliberately slowed so the eye can follow every swing. Give it an impulse by hand, and the hairspring begins to breathe.

It does not tell the time. Instead, it brings within reach the mechanism that makes mechanical timekeeping possible. The Oscillator is the second creation in FOCUS, the KERIS line for collectors, following The Winding. Each FOCUS piece takes one element of watch mechanics and makes it accessible at a scale where it can be handled, not just observed.
